Who We Are

Kanous and Associates Counseling, PLC is a mental health group practice that serves the Kalamazoo area. We meet a full range of mental health needs in a courteous, professional, and cost-efficient manner. We are dedicated to providing effective counseling services. If requested, all therapists at Kanous and Associates engage in collaborative health care between a client's physicians and other health care providers. However, all client information is held at the strictest levels of confidentiality, and no information is shared unless a signed release of information is completed.

Kanous and Associates Counseling accepts most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Aetna, Magellan, United Behavioral Health, PHP, Beacon Health, Meridian, Priority Health, Cofinity, McLaren, United Health Care Community Plan, Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, and Medicare. Some therapists also accept straight Medicaid and managed care Medicaid.
